Chairman

Bishop Horace W. Strand is the pastor of the Faith Temple Holy Church in Chester PA, Administrator of Faith Temple Christian School in Chester, PA, President of Children First America Delco, and Chairman of the Bishop Jesse Jones Scholarship Fund for the UHCA. Dr. Strand holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theological Studies from Faith
Bible College, Charleston Maine, and honorary Degree of Doctor of Divinity at Jameson Christian College in Philadelphia, PA. He is also a certified ETTA Principal and is committed to supporting private Christian education worldwide. The Bishop Jesse Jones Scholarship Fund is an excellent opportunity for the United Holy Church to reach out to families worldwide who are in need of tuition assistance for their children in private Christian schools.

Vice Chairman

Bishop George K. Horton's life exemplifies faith, resilience, and service. A native of Zebulon, North Carolina, he began his spiritual journey at St. John United Holy Church, where he embraced various roles, including musician, Sunday School teacher, and assistant superintendent. With degrees in mechanical engineering and divinity, Bishop Horton has
combined academic, professional, and spiritual excellence to uplift communities, build churches, and mentor youth. In 2014, he became Pastor of St. John United Holy Church, fostering growth and innovation, and was consecrated as a Bishop in 2020. Supported by his wife of 52 years, First Lady Gloria Horton, he continues to lead with love and dedication, enriching lives and spreading hope.

Committee Member

Bishop Harry L. Cohen is a native of Eden, North Carolina. He is married to the former Linda J. Broadnax of Eden, North Carolina and is the father of LeGrande, Harold, and Jeffrey. He is the proud grandfather of seven.
He is a graduate of Winston Salem State University and furthered his studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated from the Huston Graduate School of Theology with a MA in Theological Studies all of North Carolina. He holds the Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from the United Christian College at Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Bishop Cohen entered the ministry of preaching in July 1969. He has served the people of God as Pastor’s Kid. Student, Sunday School Teacher, Musician, Choir Director, Evangelist, Assistant to the Pastor, Pastor, District Elder, Member of the Presbytery. Member of the Board of Elders of the Southern District Convocation, In
August 1995 -1999 he served as the Vice President of the New England District
Convocation, Bishop Lewis P. Miller, Presiding Prelate and until the Re-unification of the
Original United Holy Church and the United Holy Church became a reality.
Bishop Cohen was consecrated to the Bishopric in 1997. This elevation increased his services to: Administrative Assistant to the Southern District, Bishop Ralph E. Love, Sr. and Liaison Bishop of the Southern Western, Southern Central and
Cape Fear Districts, Dean of the Untied Christian College at Burlington Campus, Secretary of the General Board of Bishops of the United Holy Church of America, Inc.
and Bishop of Music Department of the United Holy Church of America, Inc. In 2004, he
was elected Vice President of the Southern District Convocation. He served as the Presiding Prelate of The United Holy Church of America, Inc from May 2016 - 2024.
He currently serves as pastor of the New Covenant Holy Church of Burlington, NC, Inc. for the past 50 years and the St. Mariah Holy Church of Reidsville, NC for the
past 28 years.
Bishop Cohen’s motto is “The Only Way Up Is Down.” He considers himself to be a servant of God to the people of God. He serves with a smile.

Sis. Charmaine Grafton, granddaughter of the visionary Bishop Jesse Jones, carries forward his legacy of faith, education, and service. With a passion for empowering families and expanding access to quality education, she is dedicated to ensuring the Bishop Jesse Jones Scholarship Fund provides meaningful opportunities for underserved youth. As an advocate for educational equity and community development, Charmaine works tirelessly to honor her grandfather's
vision by helping families secure a brighter future through faith-based education and support. Her commitment to this mission reflects her deep connection to his enduring legacy.

Financial Secretary

Ms. Louise L. Bagley has been staunchly affiliated with the United Holy Church of America for well over sixty-five years. A native of Perry, GA with her nurturing years and upbringing in the Northern District at the Mt. Pisgah UHCA, Phila, PA under the pastorate of the late Mother
Margaret Bennett and Bishop Joseph T. Bowens at the Faith Tabernacle UHCA, Wash, DC. She is a determined Woman of God who walks in a spirit of excellence and genuinely believes that only what you do for Christ will last. She has served in various capacities in our great
church on all levels and especially noted on the General level as the current General Financial Secretary.
Ms. Bagley currently resides in Raleigh, NC and is a proud member of the Gospel Tabernacle UHCA, Burlington, NC under the pastorate of the illustrious Bishop Greg K. Hargrave who is the Presiding Prelate of the United Holy Church of America, Inc. where she enthusiastically
participates in the continued plan of God for her life by humbly serving as the Church Administrator and member of the Pastor’s Anniversary Committee. Her favorite scripture can be found in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord “plans to
prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She states that this scripture has fortified and encouraged her and motivates her daily to pursue all that God has in store for her. She is forever grateful to the UHCA which has completely supported her Development.

Rev. Dietra Conner, Ed.D., is a PA state-certified teacher and principal with extensive experience in educational leadership. She serves as the Principal of Faith Temple Christian School in Chester, PA, and holds key roles, including Executive Director of Children First America Delaware County Scholarship Organization and Secretary of the Jesse Jones Scholarship Fund. With advanced degrees in educational leadership and a deep passion for empowering parents to choose faith-based educational options, Rev. Conner is dedicated to shaping future leaders. She believes the Jesse Jones Scholarship Fund is vital in bridging gaps and expanding access to faith-based educational opportunities for youth.
